I am a Visual Memoirist and Fine Art Photographer living on Bainbridge Island, WA., ancestral home and land of the Suquamish. It is always a privilege to be asked to translate one’s life into visual imagery.  My work is grounded in the philosophy that personal spaces are sacred.  Clues abound, and if paid attention to, they can reveal the very essence of the lives of those who inhabit those spaces.  

I believe in extending the concept of memoir-making to a collection of imagery that is created in collaboration with the individual or family.  Respectfully evoking memory, restoring the self and paying homage to the individual and family are integral to my photographic pursuits and are the foundation of every commissioned work.
